Seal Your Duct Leaks. Restore Comfort. Breathe Cleaner Air.

End the Hot/Cold Room Struggle and Start Breathing Cleaner, Healthier Air

High Energy Bills

Duct leaks can dump 20–30% of your heated and cooled air into attics and crawlspaces. Your system runs longer and costs more.

Dust & Allergies

Gaps in return ducts pull dusty, unfiltered air into the system. Particles bypass your filter and circulate through every room.

Hot/Cold Rooms

Starved returns and poor balancing create pressure issues and uneven temperatures. Sealing and added returns restore comfort.

How It Works

From Testing to Verified Comfort in Just One Day

Our process pinpoints the leaks, seals them from the inside, and proves the results—usually in less than a day.

Step 1 — clean

We clean all supplies and returns with a negative pressure vacuum at each register with positive pressure air whips forcing dirt and debris into vacuum.

Step 2 — Seal From the Inside

Using either Aeroseal or Duct Armor, we seal the cracks and holes from inside the ducts—no messy tear-outs or patchwork.

Step 3 — Verified Results

Upon completion, both Aeroseal and Duct Armor applications deliver noticeable improvements in how the property feels and smells.

What is Professional Duct Cleaning?

Professional duct cleaning removes accumulated dust, debris, and contaminants from your HVAC system using source-removal methods. This process improves airflow, supports indoor air quality, and prepares ductwork for sealing or encapsulation .

Our approach follows NADCA-inspired best practices, ensuring contaminants are removed safely without spreading particles into occupied spaces.

How the Process Works

  1. System Inspection We assess duct condition, access points, and contamination levels.
  2. Negative Air Containment A powerful vacuum system creates negative pressure, preventing debris from escaping into the building.
  3. Mechanical Agitation Air whips dislodge dust, debris, and buildup from duct surfaces.
  4. Source Removal All loosened material is captured and removed from the system.
  5. Optional Sanitizing Applied when appropriate to help address odors or microbial concerns.

Why Duct Cleaning Matters

  • Improves HVAC airflow and efficiency
  • Reduces dust circulation throughout the building
  • Helps maintain a cleaner indoor environment
  • Essential preparation before duct sealing or encapsulation
  • Supports long-term HVAC system performance

When Is Duct Cleaning Recommended?

  • Before aerosol duct sealing or duct armor encapsulation
  • After construction or renovation
  • Excessive dust buildup or debris visible in vents
  • Older or neglected duct systems
  • Commercial or multi-unit properties

What Is Duct Armor Encapsulation?

Duct Armor® encapsulation is a process used to restore aging or compromised ductwork by sealing the interior surfaces with a durable lining. This creates a continuous barrier inside the ducts, helping prevent mold growth, musty odors, and contamination from entering the air system.

This solution is especially effective for in-slab duct systems and older metal ductwork where moisture intrusion, soil infiltration and collapsed tiles are common issues.

Why Mold & Odors Start in Ducts

In-slab and underground ducts are exposed to moisture and soil. Over time, this can lead to mold, bacteria, and persistent earthy or musty smells that circulate throughout the home.

Duct Armor addresses the problem at the source by completely encapsulating the interior of the duct, rather than masking symptoms.

How the Process Works

  1. Duct system inspection and professional cleaning
  2. Preparation of deteriorated interior surfaces
  3. Application of a water-based, non-toxic lining
  4. Curing to create a smooth, sealed duct interior

Key Benefits

  • Helps prevent mold growth inside ducts
  • Reduces musty and soil-related odors
  • Seals leaks that allow contaminants in
  • Creates a smooth, clean interior surface
  • Improves airflow consistency

What Is Aeroseal Duct Sealing?

Aeroseal duct sealing is a process that seals air leaks from the inside of your duct system. An atomized sealant is released into the ducts, where it safely finds and seals gaps and leaks that are difficult or impossible to reach by hand.

This allows the duct system to deliver air more efficiently and consistently throughout the home.

How the Process Works

  1. The duct system is cleaned then pressurized
  2. A pre-seal test is done to determine total leakage
  3. The aerosolized sealant is introduced into the ductwork and it collects at leaky points and seals the gaps from the inside
  4. A post-seal airflow test confirms sealing results

Why Aerosol Sealing Matters

Leaky ducts can lose a significant amount of conditioned air before it ever reaches living spaces. Aerosol sealing helps address this by:

  • Reducing air loss in hidden duct sections
  • Improving comfort room-to-room
  • Helping the HVAC system operate more efficiently
  • Delivering cleaner, more consistent airflow

When Aerosol Sealing Is a Good Fit

  • Older duct systems with airflow issues
  • Homes with uneven heating or cooling
  • Ductwork located in walls, ceilings, and finished basements
  • New construction

Frequently Asked Questions

Most homes seal in 2–4 hours, with a total of 3–5 hours, including setup, testing, and cleanup. Larger homes, commercial buildings or multiple systems can take longer—your technician will confirm the timeline on arrival.

During application, you may notice a mild glue-like smell. The sealant is water-based and low-VOC, and any odor typically dissipates within a few hours with normal ventilation. You can remain in the home during application..

Yes. Duct Armor is water-based, non-toxic, and low-VOC, designed to encapsulate underground/in-slab ducts. Once cured, it forms a durable liner that helps block soil and moisture intrusion. It is advised to keep the fan on for 7-10 days after application.

Please clear access to supply/return registers and the furnace/air handler, move fragile items away from vents, and keep pets secure. We’ll handle protection, setup, sealing, and final cleanup.

  • Local utility rebates: Many utilities offer incentives for duct sealing.
  • Federal incentives: Under the Inflation Reduction Act, Aeroseal customers may qualify for up to 30% credits on eligible home efficiency measures. Eligibility varies by household and scope—we can provide you the documentation for your tax pro.
  • Real savings & payback: Typical duct sealing customers see ~30–40% energy-bill savings with a ~1.5–2.5 year payback, depending on usage and rates.
  • Proof you can use: Aeroseal customers receive a Certificate of Completion with a before/after leakage report to support rebate/credit claims.

* Rebates/credits are not guaranteed and depend on your utility, project scope, and current program rules. You can always confirm tax credits with your tax advisor.
