At Duct Restoration Group (DRG), we stand behind the quality of our materials, workmanship, and processes. Below you will find warranty details for the services we provide, including Aeroseal® Duct Sealing and Duct Armor® Duct Restoration.
All warranties are subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Aeroseal® Duct Sealing Warranty
Standard Warranty Coverage
Aeroseal® duct sealing includes a 10-year warranty on the Aeroseal sealant applied within the duct system.
The Aeroseal product has been independently tested and shown to remain effective for over 40 years, exceeding UL durability standards under normal operating conditions.
Warranty Conditions
The Aeroseal warranty applies only to the sealant within the ductwork and is valid under the following conditions:
- The duct system must be cleaned using an air-based duct cleaning method prior to sealing.
- Duct cleaning may be performed by Duct Restoration Group or by another qualified professional contractor.
- The warranty does not cover:
- Mechanical damage
- Structural duct defects
- Improper system modifications
- Damage caused by water intrusion, fire, or other external events
Important Notes
- Aeroseal seals air leaks from the inside out and does not repair crushed, disconnected, or structurally compromised ductwork.
- Energy savings and comfort improvements may vary based on home design, HVAC system condition, and usage patterns.

Duct Armor® Duct Restoration Warranty
Standard Warranty Coverage
Duct Armor® includes a 15-year transferable warranty when properly installed and used under normal HVAC operating conditions.
This warranty covers repair or reapplication of the Duct Armor coating only if the coating fails to properly adhere to the ductwork.
Warranty Conditions
To remain valid, the following conditions must be met:
- All ductwork must be properly cleaned using an air-based cleaning method before and after application.
- Adequate air circulation must be maintained for 3–5 days following application.
- The coating must be allowed to fully cure:
- 10–14 days under normal conditions, or
- Sooner when continuous high-velocity air movement is provided
- The HVAC system must operate under normal conditions after installation.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
- Water intrusion or unresolved moisture issues
- Structural defects or collapsing ductwork
- Flooding or standing water
- Improper maintenance or misuse
- Natural disasters or external environmental events
Important:
It is the client’s responsibility to identify and correct any existing or potential water issues before installation.
Unremediated moisture or water intrusion will void the warranty.
Duct Armor® is a protective coating, not a waterproofing or drainage solution.
Additional Warranty Terms
- Warranty replacements or repairs do not extend the original warranty period.
- Warranty is transferable to a new property owner within the original warranty term.

Warranty Limitations & General Terms
- All warranties apply only to materials and application provided by Duct Restoration Group.
- No warranty covers unrelated HVAC components, equipment failure, or pre-existing conditions.
- DRG is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Any unauthorized repairs, alterations, or third-party interference may void applicable warranties.
