Refund/Cancellation Policy

At Duct Restoration Group, we take pride in providing high-quality duct sealing, duct lining, duct cleaning, and restoration services. Because our services are custom, labor-based, and performed on-site, our refund and return policies differ from those of product-based businesses. Please review the policy below carefully.


Service Deposits

• All scheduled services may require a deposit to secure your appointment date.

Deposits are non-refundable once a service date has been confirmed, as time, materials, and labor are reserved specifically for your project.


Cancellations & Rescheduling

• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled service.

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

• We are happy to reschedule your service when proper notice is given, subject to availability.


Refunds After Service Completion

Due to the nature of our work:

Completed services are non-refundable

• Results may vary based on home conditions, duct configuration, HVAC systems, and existing damage

• Refunds will not be issued based on subjective outcomes such as personal comfort preferences or expected energy savings


Service Guarantees & Warranties

Some services we provide may include manufacturer or process warranties, such as:

• Aeroseal® duct sealing warranties

• Duct Armor® lining warranties

These warranties are provided by the manufacturer and cover product performance, not refunds. Warranty claims are handled according to manufacturer guidelines and documentation provided at completion.


Unsatisfactory Service Concerns

Your satisfaction matters to us. If you believe there is an issue with the quality of our work:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of service completion
  2. We will schedule an inspection if necessary
  3. If a workmanship issue is confirmed, we will work with you to correct the problem at no additional cost when applicable

Refunds are not guaranteed but concerns will always be reviewed fairly and professionally.


Missed Appointments & Access Issues

Refunds or rescheduling without penalty may not apply if:

• Our technicians cannot access the home

• Pets are not secured as requested

• HVAC systems or work areas are inaccessible

• The homeowner is not present when required

In these cases, the deposit may be forfeited.
